Aarchi shook her head and took a quick bath hearing her stomach growl loudly. She changed into purple shorts and t-shirt. She felt slightly cold so wore the matching shrug and jumped her way downstairs.

"What's the surprise?" She asked entering the dining hall to see her favorite samosas waiting for her. 

"Samosaaaaaa" She screamed and held the plate in her hands and inhaled the aroma of it with closed eyes. She started singing and dancing with the plate of samosas as if it were her partner.

"Tu tu hai vohi dil ne jisse apna kaha

Tu hai jahan main hoon vahan Ab to yeh jeena tere bin hai saza
O mil jaaye is tarah, do lehre jis tarahO mil jaaye is tarah, do lehre jis tarah" She sang and placed it on the table and sat opposite it, inhaling the smell and smiling showing her teeth widely.
"Keep smelling it like that and you'll blow up like a balloon and get admitted in a psychiatric ward" She heard her brother's voice and turned around irritated to call her mother.

"Mumaaaa Avi bhaiyu is calling me fat and mental, he said I'll become a ballo... Bhaiyu" She walked to the kitchen holding the samosas plate close to her looking for Kaira when it suddenly clicked her that she might have heard Aviraj's voice. She placed the plate in the kitchen and ran to the dining hall to confirm if she was hallucinating or not.

"Surpriseeee!!!!" Aviraj screamed opening his arms to her. Aarchi smiled happily and ran into his arms. Aviraj quickly swept her off feet and twirled her in air.

"Bhaiyuuu" She hugged him tightly as he did the same. Aviraj placed her on her feet and pulled her nose.

"Mental case" She hit shoulder hard making him wince in pain.

"How was the surprise?" Kaira asked Aarchi softly.

"Amazing" Aarchi hugged Kaira and her eyes again went to Aviraj.

"My bhabhi didn't come?" She whispered to Aviraj, entwining her arm around Aviraj's elbow.

"Teri bhabhi ko mujhse pyaar hi nahi hai" Aviraj whispered back to her.

"When India-Pakistan are seeing talking, it makes my heart upset" Rishav said entering the dining hall from a long day at work. Aarchi snickered hearing something she has always heard from childhood.

"Papa" Aviraj walked towards Rishav and bent down to get his blessings and hugged him.

"When did you come?" Rishav asked.

"Just a few minutes back" Aviraj said leaving Rishav's side and coming to Aarchi's.

"As you can see. me and your mom didn't spoil your surprise" Rishav said rolling his sleeves up.

"All thanks to my ma" Aviraj teased Rishav who glared at him.

"Is there an option where we can just pack him and return him from where he came?" Rishav asked looking at Kaira for help who shook her head.

"Let's get started with dinner, Avi needs to sleep after the long flight" Kaira served Aviraj lovingly. Aarchi pulled Aviraj close by his t-shirt.

"Aryu bhaiyu didn't come?" She asked Aviraj softly with hopes. Aviraj refused pulling his sleeves up. With a sad face she sat straight and waited for Rishav to eat when she saw a hand covering her eyes. She heard Kaira ask her to guess the person.

"Bhaiyuu?" She pushed the hand away from her eyes and turned around excitedly to see only Maitri standing there.

"Bhaiyu?" She asked Maitri, stepping away from the chair.

"He isn't coming but aren't you happy seeing me here?" Maitri asked with hurt.

"No, not like that. You are my favourite, I missed you" Aarchi hugged Maitri and asked her to sit beside her as they all started dinner. Aarchi picked 5 samosas at once and placed them in her plate. Aviraj tried to take one but she slapped his hand away. Next she pulled all the chutney's towards her and was going to add them on top of the samosas when she felt a presence behind her.

"Aur kitna khayegi moti?" 

"Bhaiyu" Aarchi turned around to see Aryaman standing in his glory smiling at her. She jumped on him, wrapping her legs around his waist as Aryaman laughed and Maitri and Aviraj quickly took some pictures of it for memories.

"You aren't a 13 year old child who weighed like feather, you now weigh like an elephant Aru, get down" Aryaman said holding her close but asking her to step down.

"I missed you so much" Aarchi wept as she chocked him with her hug. Aryaman chuckled and patted her head.

"Enough now or else Maitri might get upset seeing you cling on to me like a koala" Aryaman joked with Aarchi who refused to get down.

"Oh no no, hug him all you want Aru, your brother...your wish. Keep me out of this" Maitri said raising her hands as she greeted Rishav and Kaira.

"You didn't say you were coming?" Rishav asked blessing Maitri who bent down to touch his feet.

"When Avi told us that he was coming here, Maan and I planned a surprise for all of you" She explained to them walking towards Aviraj to hug him.

"That's the best thing my son's ever done in his life after marrying you" Rishav joked making Maitri shake her head.

Aryaman placed Aarchi down and walked to Aviraj to greet and pull Maitri away from him.

"Nidhi?" Aryaman whispered.

"She didn't come with you?" Maitri asked moving away from Aryaman's grip to Aviraj's so she could whisper in his ears.

"I asked the same question" Aarchi joined the small circle and whispered.

"Yeah so remember when I said India-Pakistan scare me, cross that. When India-Pakistan-China and Srilanka are siding with each other, I fear about how many more days I have before the soul leaves my body" Rishav said looking at the group of 4 worriedly. 

"Does that mean Mum can then date a better man than you?" Aryaman asked wiggling his eyebrows. Rishav picked a spoon and aimed it at Aryaman who ducked at the right time.

"Enough... You guys can't be throwing around my cutlery. Either you all behave like grown adults or you all are going in a time-out" Kaira said banging her hands on the table.

"I'd love to go in a time-out with you involving the bed" Rishav whispered in Kaira's ear making her blush.

"I think we all should go in a time-out so we don't have to see this!" Aviraj said making a disgusting face.

"If not for THIS!!!..." Rishav pointed between him and Kaira and turned towards the boys and Aarchi "This wouldn't be there" Rishav said pointing at his children.

"I'm skipping dinner, no thanks to you dad" Aryaman said picking Aarchi's plate.

"That's my dinner..." Aarchi immediately leapt forward to save her dinner.

"Well now its mine too" Aviraj joined Aryaman and both soon started digging into her nicely prepared plate. Aarchi grabbed the spoon and started eating as fast as she could before her brothers finished it off.

"Come dear, don't mind my kids who are behaving like ANIMALS!" Kaira pulled Maitri with her as she taunted the 3 Ranawats which none of them bothered to listen.

"I didn't see them like this last time we were home" Maitri said serving herself as she looked at the three go in a war with each other for food.

"They were pretending to be mature people but sometimes the mask slips eg like this" Maitri served Kaira some more asking her to ignore the rest as she caught up on her life and filled her with some details from her life.

"I haven't had such an amazing dinner in a while" Aryaman said sitting back on the chair comfortably and closing his eyes out of exhaustion.

"He's saying you don't make good food. He's insulting you Mayu, you can't let him walk all over you like this, at least not under my rood" Rishav instigated Maitri who laughed it off.

"He doesn't mean it like that papa" Maitri said moving her chair towards Rishav.

"Tujhe jaghda karna nahi aata kya? Tsk tsk tsk, you have alot to learn" Rishav looked at Maitri disappointed.

"What happened? She didn't get influenced by you?" Aryaman asked knowingly. Rishav glared at him and got back to eating.

"I'm thinking of going to Vihaan's place tomorrow to surprise him" Aviraj said adding some more samosas to his plate. Aarchi's complete attention was now on her elder brothers' conversations as her heart raced.

"What time does he finish?" Aryaman asked Aarchi knowing that the two work in the same hospital. Aarchi opened her mouth to say the exact timing but stopped realizing that it would make her brother doubtful of their relation if she knew the exact time. She looked at Kaira for help who smiled and blinked assuring her that she's got her.

"Why will she know? They work in different faculties. You want to meet your friend ask him yourself" Kaira said saving Aarchi. Maitri noticed the exchange of conversation between Kaira and Aarchi and realized that they were up to something.

"Ehh even that's true. We can just show up at his house this time tomorrow" Aryaman nodded and stole a samosa from Aarchi's plate.

"Papaaaa" Aarchi complained to Rishav on how Aryaman again stole food from her plate.

"Look there's a whole lot of samosas there, stop eating mine" Aarchi picked up the samosa from Aryaman's hand when Aviraj stole another one from her plate.

"You want?" Aviraj asked licking the whole samosa with his tongue and forwarding it to Aarchi to take it back. Aryaman laughed and hi-fived Aviraj behind Aarchi's back. Maitri laughed seeing the siblings and making a note to herself to call her sister, Divya and inform her that she was home.
